Heating furnaces and other furnace productscan undergo factory modular design, prefabrication, transportation, and on-siteinstallation. Approach: Factory deep prefabrication, component combinationtransportation, on-site rapid assembly, installation, and debugging. Theadvantages of modular design for heating furnaces and prefabrication of factorymodules include clear supply scope and responsibilities of all parties, reducedprocurement workload for owners, reduced on-site construction volume andproduction site, better assurance of construction period and quality, andreduced on-site construction volume and production site. We can carry outmodular design in advance based on the overall design plan, determine themodule prefabrication plan, module transportation plan, and on-site assemblyplan, and then submit them to the owner and design party for confirmation, thereby saving design time. With the trend of large-scale heating furnaces andfurther standardization of road transportation, the size design ofprefabricated modules in factories should be controlled as much as possiblewithin 22 meters in length, 3.0 meters in width, and 3.3 meters in height.

In the process of modular supply, theinterface with on-site construction work should be divided. The issues thatmanufacturers usually pay attention to during the modular detailed design stageshould be clearly stated in the drawings sent to the design institute forconfirmation, and on-site welding symbols should be marked. For disputed areas, the best solution can be determined through discussion with the on-siteconstruction unit, design institute, and owner at the kick-off meeting.

Component Name

Explanation of reasons for reserved workload

Remarks

Welding seams between modules

Manufacturing, transportation, disassembly required

Maximize according to confirmed opinions or transportation restrictions

Winding ladder

Not convenient for transportation and difficult to accurately determine the angle

Supply of step components, other materials and loose parts

Furnace bottom column foot plate and cover plate

Easy to adjust and eliminate errors in civil engineering foundations

Weld after adjusting the position of the column

Matching flange of smoke and air duct module

Easy to adjust length, angle and position, eliminate accumulated errors in civil engineering and installation

At least a flexible flange should be reserved at the factory and only spot welded.

Short pipes connecting convection modules and furnace tubes for oil transfer lines

Welding should be carried out after the module is installed in place, and the length should be cut according to the actual measurement to ensure uniform welding and welding quality.

Each straight pipe is equipped with an elbow, with a reserved length of 50mm for the straight pipe section

Radiation room connection and door lining protective ring

The connecting pipe and lining protection ring protrude on the inner surface of the furnace wall, which is not conducive to combined transportation and is prone to damage during transportation and lifting.

On site welding and installation of manufacturing plant openings, connecting pipes and door accessories

Convection subframe

The transportation size is limited and not conducive to combined transportation. Due to its light weight, the transportation cost is high

Prefabricate small components and loose parts that are conducive to combined transportation, install and weld them on site

Platform support beams and their connecting plates

The platform supplies modules and should be marked uniformly to determine the position after the heating furnace is assembled to ensure assembly accuracy.

Welding and installation of platform support beams and heating furnace columns on site, and supply of loose connecting plates (if any)

The connecting beam between the two radiation chambers of the square furnace

Easy to adjust, eliminate civil engineering foundation errors and cumulative installation errors

Supply loose parts of connecting beams, leaving at least one side of the connecting plate for on-site cutting and welding.

Opening of burner on the bottom plate of the furnace

When the supplier of the heating furnace module is inconsistent with the supplier of the burner, it is inevitable that there will be discrepancies in the document confirmation information.

On site drilling and welding installation based on the actual burner

Opening of burner support air duct on the hot air duct at the bottom of the furnace

Due to accumulated installation errors, the pre drilled positions often do not match, and on-site welding repairs require re drilling

After the burner is installed, weld holes on the hot air duct according to the actual position.

The flue flange between two furnaces

Easy to adjust length, angle and position, eliminate accumulated errors in civil engineering and installation

At least one live flange should be reserved at the factory, only spot welded, and welded after lifting in place.

Radiative convection 90 degree flue flange

asy to adjust length, angle position, and eliminate accumulated installation errors

At the time of leaving the factory, both ends of the curved flue flange are left with openings.

Convection to bacon 90 degree flue flange

Easy to adjust length, angle position, and eliminate accumulated installation errors.

At the time of leaving the factory, both ends of the curved flue flange are left with openings.
